Arm balances can feel a bit unbalanced at first, and it's totally natural to have a fall-ing feeling about them! But what if your fear could transform into a love for defying gravity?
Join Teacher Cathy at Vida Yoga Alabang for three immersive sessions that will have you lifting off in no time! We'll start with beginner-friendly poses to help you find your center and build confidence, then propel you into more intermediate arm balances. With the right guidance and a super supportive environment, you'll discover that your fear of falling can easily transform into a flight of fancy!
Don't just stand there, balance your way to a new level of practice!
Day 1: Ready to Launch
This session will teach you the basic mechanics of fundamental arm balances like Bakasana (Crow Pose) and Tolasana (Scale Pose). You will learn how to effectively activate key muscle groups, practice shifting and manipulating your body balance, and build the confidence to take flight!
Perfect for beginners who would like to explore arm balances in a safe space or intermediate practitioners who would like to refine their techniques.
Day 2: Up, Up and Away!
Eka Pada Galavasana (Flying Pigeon) and Astavakrasana (Eight Angle Pose) can seem intimidating, but with the right guidance (and a whole lot of fun), you can master these intimidating postures! This session is ideal for practitioners who already have an existing arm balance practice.
This session is ideal for yogis with an existing arm balance practice and would like to explore more intermediate postures.
Day 3: Fly High
Want to take your arm balance practice to the next level? Whether it’s jumping from Bakasana to Chaturanga, or shifting to Sirsasana B (Tripod Headstand), unlock tricky transitions that will leave you feeling tantalized and topsy turvy! Recommended for seasoned practitioners.
